Position: Development & Live System Support Specialist Emerging Markets Payments Group EMP was established in 2001 with the primary objective of providing high quality, smart card payment processing services to banks across Africa's emerging markets. EMP has the inherently added advantage of a sound commercial foundation, a focus on integrity, and also a staunch commitment to upholding the interests of its clients.
Functions and Roles: Main accountabilities An Operation's Developer & Live System Support Specialist providing support to a third party company that provides a smart cards payment processing services from most global payments technology networks (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners Club, and CUP) to banks as following: • Ensure proper administration of Card Management System. • Ensure proper administration of Fraud Analyzer Monitoring System. • Ensure proper administration of Mobile Banking System. • Create and modify reports (Crystal Reports, Row Data Files) according to customers' requirements. • Develop PL/SQL codes and scripts that support the business requirements. • Analyze bottle necks of reports and make optimization in order to enhance performance. • Support and solve technical and business problems of customers from both application and database side. • Banks setup in CMS for different payment systems (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners Club, and China UnionPay) products including credit, debit, and prepaid in issuer and acquirer sides. • Testing integration files between different Systems in CMS using XML or interface files. • Testing new applications and upgrades provided by vendor, and reporting to management. • Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with Banks' members to provide them knowledge of CMS. • Reporting and following up technical and functional cases with vendors such as system bugs and fixes, upgrades, enhancement and inquires. • Follow up and support live cases with clients, using trouble ticket application (JIRA) . • Develop and apply special PL/SQL codes and scripts to be applied on both database and application level in order to insure the business flow; also assist in data migration projects. • In-house building for different MIS Files that are used by internal bank systems (Core banking system), also new reports and customize internal application reports to satisfy banks requirements including monthly and quarterly statistics or daily base reports. • Provide senior level programming as required. • Provide process, data and object modeling in a variety of application and database environments. • Provide database design, development, and enhancement, as well as management and coordination of changes to existing applications. • Provide technical architecture analysis, design, development, and enhancement. • Provide business analysis, business area assessment, user needs analysis and business systems design for major projects. • Support all testing, change and release management activities for projects and change requests. • Develop of manuals and user documentation in relation to any adopted system changes. • Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire.
