Key Responsibilities

·        The Operation Manager shall possess managerial skills and technical qualifications and demonstrate the judgment, initiative, and motivation essential to maintaining operational control of the communications network and facilities.

·        Primary duty shall be to manage a group of twenty or more technicians and engineers.

·        The person shall be capable of assisting the KMOD (J6) in evaluating new technology and/or equipment upgrades and in developing future communication requirements.

·        The Operation Manger Minimum BS Engineering in work related field of study from an accredited college or university.

·        Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in the Telecommunications field.

·        The Operation Manager shall have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in management, installation, test, and maintenance activities of communications systems and equipment

·        He must have five (5) years direct supervisory experience.

·        Experience in Capital planning, budgeting and conformance

·        Ability to work effectively within a cross functional and team-based environment.

·        Experience in the end-to-end process of project planning, requirements management, risk management, documentation, design processes, test processes, and manufacturing
