• Monitoring compliance as per DCCA / JAFZA- TRAKHEES EHS Authority & Construction site safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure that all persons/ employees working on site, including persons delivering materials are properly instructed about safety measures to be observed, and all persons are conversant with the obligations and requirements of the HSE Manual, Company's procedures, welfare of employees and environmental issues.
• Make regular inspections of the site in association with the site supervisors to ensure proper working methods are being practiced, rectify where required, and be allowed to instruct a suspension of work should a situation arise that may lead to an incident.
• Ensure, in conjunction with the Plant/Logistic Manager that Vehicles/mobile equipments are kept in safe working condition and used in a safe manner, as well as being stocked with fire extinguishers.
• Review the risk assessments monthly, Inspect constructional plant entering on site and remove such plant that does not meet statutory requirements or standards Inspect work passes, vehicle permits and permits to work and stop work in the event of documents being found unsatisfactory.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Improved HSE commitment throughout the entire organization through providing leadership in implementation of the HSE policies and ensuring all working conditions are in compliance with Trakhees EHS requirements and regulations.
• Developed and drove site-specific HSE training programs by risk assessment, safety performance employee survey and hazard analysis.
• Drove continuous improvement and operational effectiveness of site HSE programs, procedures and tools by conducting periodic meetings with HSE officers and construction team to communicate effective HSE measures and strategies applicable in the specific construction industry.
• Identified project feasibility, major equipment, issues and project deliverables; advice site Supervisors/Engineers concerning Safe working practices, and potentially dangerous occurrences.

Project 1- Abu Dhabi AIRPORT EXPANSION PROJECT
• Monitored and implemented the ADAC’s procedures as per the Projects QHSE Plan.
• Provided management and Project manager with continuous support and advice to ensure QHSE remains an integral part of the Organization equal in priority to operations and profitability.
• Coordinated with ADAC and own management team; provided HSE induction and training to all new comers; ensured permit to work systems being implemented; ensured good housekeeping throughout the period of work; ensured the availability of first aid and fire extinguishers on site and in perfect operable condition; conducted prior job safety analysis and risk assessments.
Project 2- Abu Dhabi (RUWAIS, BOROUGE 3 POLYOLEFIN PLANT) TECHNIMONT AND SAMSUNG, TSJ
• Training employees on methods of safe work practices and provide technical guidance for accident protection.
• Monitoring and implementation of Borouge HSE procedures.
• Ensured and planned for work during adverse weather conditions such as HEAT STRESS during the summer.
• Ensured toolbox talk is carried out on a weekly basis as per hazard and job activities on site.

• Ensured all project QHSE objectives Preparation are met; workings within an established project scope of Work, Standards, Codes of Practice, to ensure targets are achieved, and clients’ requirements are fulfilled and complied with all legislations or regulations.
• Led, developed, enhanced, and supported sustainable systems for employee involvement (HSE committees, VPP, risk assessments, safety observations process, safe work permit processes).
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Habtoor Leighton Group was responsible for the construction of 20.3 kilometres of road network including 6.5 kilometres of 10-lane expressway linking Abu Dhabi City with Yas Island a contract value of US$ 681 million.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct hazard analysis and risk assessments at work
Develop and implement safe systems of specific site activities in conjunction with the HSE Manager.
Prepare site specific safety manual and safety inspection checklists in association with the Project manager and HSE Manager.
Daily safety inspection of work sites and record results.
Investigation of accidents, incidents, near misses and reporting.
Monitoring and inspecting the works carried out near Gas/Oil pipelines.
Conduct HSE meetings among staff, weekly HSE meetings with clients & top management.
Training employees on methods of safe work practices and providing necessary technical guidance for accident prevention.
