• Hands-on Supervision, planning of lifting activities
• Choosing the right lifting gears for the sites and monitoring and makes sure that all lifting gears and machines are certified and inspected by the third party.
• Manages the safe operation and maintenance of the company tower cranes especially critical lifting works.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair tower cranes such as potain and FM Gru tower cranes in the site and company crane yard.
• Monitor the tower cranes daily and set the maintenance schedule.
• Supervise tower crane operators and helpers when doing the maintenance and repair jobs (Example: Greasing, removal of old and installation of new wire rope, uninstall of defective and installation of new electric motor, inverters, magnetic switch and relays).
• Crane control test at the crane yard before the erection date.
• Preparation of Safe Work Method Statement and coordination with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, HSE Manager, Engineer, and Officers before the crane erections.
• Calibration of limit switches and load indicators before third party inspection.
• Preparation of all necessary documents for third party inspection.
• Preparation of monthly activity report and spare parts stock report.
• Troubleshoots and repair tower cranes with weekly preventive maintenance check and tower crane load testing. Setting up of load indicator and limit switches setting and calibration. Wire rope/Electric motor dismantling and installation. VFD configuration and troubleshooting. Spare parts, maintenance tools and equipment inventory management. Managing to meet requirements for tower cranes third party inspection.
• Install and make power panels for generators and tower cranes and man lifts.
• Installation of the tower crane earthing system.
• Crane control and mechanical test at the crane yard before the erection date.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair tower cranes such as potain, zoomlion and BPR cadillon tower cranes in the site and workshop
• Monitor, troubleshoot and repair generator such as genpower 400, and 30kva perkins 500, 400, 200, 150kva cukuruva 350kva(Volvo penta engine) and Aksa 400, 275 and 30kva in the work site, offices and labor camps
• Install and connect all power cables, motor cables, panel and control cables step by step in erecting a tower crane.
• Uninstall power cables, motor cables, control and panel cables step by step in dismantling the tower crane for relocation.
