Studied the status of Governance in the private sector in Lebanon and established standards. I have obtained the patronage of H.E. the Prime Minister for a national conference held on October 31, 2017, to disclose these recommendations. We are continuously advocating with the government and associations for their implementation.

Established the frameworks and, on a continuous basis, advise on and administer the following: Governance, Risk and Compliance; the Secretariat of the Board and its Committees; Legal and Contracts; the Annual Reports; the Strategy, Business Plans and Progress Reports of the Subsidiaries; the Private Equity Fund; and other corporate development projects covering new investments and ventures, M&A, franchising, shareholders agreements, real estate, family governance and inheritance planning; in addition to representing the Group at industry events and supporting the Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries in Lebanon (SPIL).

Advocated for the adoption of the Quality Education SDG for 2017, which was selected: we have set the strategy based on 2 pillars: advocacy with the Ministry of Education, academic institutions and major Lebanon based companies for the introduction of cooperative education; and the development of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone.

At the Corporate Secretariat, I have handled the legal, governance and regulatory matters of the Board of Directors and Committees of the Group and of 2 of its subsidiaries. I have handled additionally the Asset Liability Committee of the Bank and the publication process on the London and Beirut stock exchanges.
I have as well developed, in application of a Central Bank of Lebanon circular, the Legal Testing Framework for the Legal Compliance Unit; and have reviewed and advised on draft regulations to be issued by the Capital Markets Authority organizing the Market Conduct, the Business Conduct and the CMA Application Procedure.

At the Training and Development Department, I have developed a research function to improve the quality of decision on education and training programs; and developed the education file by raising the number of sponsorships provided to more than double, totaling 250.
I have promoted international education by enabling talented employees earn their degrees in top US and European schools; and brought in in-house trainings from top European providers.
I have handled as well other functions such as the Annual and Quarterly Reports, the Training Curriculum and the Risk Curriculum and Educational Program, the E-Learning project, the Education Committee, in addition to delivering trainings.

I have established the Middle East Hub of Technip and developed the site based manpower pool by increasing it from 80 to 250 employees, from 4 countries to 12, in 2 years, administering 500 labour agreements. The employees were mainly distributed in Qatar (CTJV - RLOC), Yemen (YLNG), KSA (Khursaniyah), Angola (TP Angola - Angoflex), Tunisia (Shkira), Iran (Kharg) and Vietnam (DQR).
I have as well designed and implemented two systems to retain employees: (1) a Planning for the mobility of employees between sites, along with a Performance Appraisal Form and Procedure for construction site based employees, which was adopted for all TECHNIP Group site entities; and (2) a Compensation and Benefits matrix divided by nationality, sector and level.
Besides the ME Hub functions, I was a member of a team developing HR systems for the TECHNIP Group and contributed to merging the HR systems between TECHNIP Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia.
