Three different municipalities across Lebanon (Rayaq, Qab elias, and Damour) ( Bekaa and South).

In charge of the Bekaa area,
Data collection using a coded questionnaire for Lebanon and Jordan. Conducted about 160 interviews between Lebanon and Jordan through face to face and phone interviews due to covid.
- Ensured leadership to the day-to-day emergency General Food Distribution response operations in Yemen and ensure all DRC sectors are actively merging planning and activities, in the context of an interdisciplinary one program approach.
In charge of emergency team of 40 DRC staff in addition to 600 causal workers/ month and 23 emergency warehouses.
(Beneficiaries case load: 75000 HH per month)
- Ensured compatibility and sequencing of GFD with the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) which is coordinated with UN and NGO partners. Responsible for managing the response in close coordination with other actors and DRC field teams. This includes maintaining good relations with UN agencies, keeping clear track on RRM related standard operating processes and registration as well as all communication and logistics related to the RRM.
- Provided the CD and Senior Management Team with updated information on ongoing/emerging humanitarian crises and needs within Northern Yemen;
- Ensured protection in emergency principles and best practice (including SGBV and CP concerns) are streamlined across all the emergency distribution activities.
- Supported existing field offices with surge capacity when taking on new projects - assist in staff recruitment, staff training, setting up systems, and planning and starting activities;
- Lead the north emergency distribution teams in day-to-day activities at field and main office level.
- Provided troubleshooting in existing operations facing bottlenecks in program implementation;
- Facilitated information exchange within and between DRC departments, with respect to systems, standards and best practices in emergency response; including training country teams on the post distribution monitoring and quality of the
- Contributed to budget monitoring and control of expenses including compliance with DRC and donor requirements.
- Guaranteed that DRC mandate, policies and values in programming is ensured through standard regulations and operational procedures for programming and implementation of DRC operations
- Ensured that DRC’s accountability obligations are delegated and carried out in accordance with the CHS standards and DRC protocols.
- A very close coordination with donor and authorities in the north area aiming to enrich the good coordination and reach the DRC goal.
- In charge of livelihood and cash projects (Proposal drafting, Project planning, design, budget, implementing, monitoring and evaluation)
- Organized, conducted and supervised various distributions being it: Food, nonfood, vouchers, livestock, and cash cards, all over the Bekaa and in areas such as Arsal and Tufail.
Worked with Lebanese returnees, Palestinian, Palestinian Syrian, Iraqi, Assyrian, and Syrian Refugees.
- Conducted several market assessments in Arsal, Ras Baalbeck, and west Bekaa.
- Assisted the Sub-Delegation in running field activities for specific sectors.
- Regular coordination with authorities, local Red Cross Branches, communities, suppliers, local partners, interlocutors and other stakeholders.
- Conducted business management skills training to 300 small businesses. (Agri, Livestock, Sewing, dairy production, and other small projects)
- Maintained a good relationship with implementing partners and stakeholders.
- Presented the ICRC principles, mandate and activities to interlocutors and beneficiaries
- Participated and organized field assessments and post-distribution monitoring as required and using existing information collection tools and reporting templates.
- Contributed to the analysis of the security, socio-economic, cultural and political environment relevant to the ICRC and shared relevant information with colleagues.
