Duties and Responsibilities.
▪ Strictly implement relevant laws and regulations of the Kenyan government,
management regulations of China’s state-owned enterprises, and various rules and
systems of the operating company.
▪ Responsible for the safety supervision and management of the transportation
(including the Dispatching Center, transportation, freight, and passenger transport,
similarly hereinafter) system under the leadership of the HoD (Safety
Supervision).
▪ Urge the industrial and transportation system to establish sound safety
management rules and regulations as well as measures; supervise the
implementation of technical regulations, technical standards, and various safety
management systems, methods, and measures for the transportation system.
▪ Supervise the education and training of the transportation system and the
implementation of emergency plans (drills).
▪ Monitor and control the transportation system’s management of labor safety, fire
safety, and safety of environmental protection as well as water and soil
conservation with professional supervisors.
▪ Track and analyze safe production information of the electric system, submit
analysis reports, and put forward improvement suggestions and requirements.
▪ Urge the transportation system to conduct seasonal and phased safety activities,
organize monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual safety analyses, and submit
various materials regarding safety meetings in time.
▪ Organize the safety assessment, inspection, and appraisal of the transportation
system.
▪ Cooperate on or participate in emergency response, investigation, and analysis of
accidents based on the authority of accident investigation.
▪ Complete weekly and monthly on-site inspections as well as quantification tasks
covering the work section of workshops in time, and participate in the duty work
and security guarantee of the Port Reitz Station.
