Position : Projects Electrical Engineer Deputation: Manama, Bahrain

Job Responsibilities: -
Dealing with EWA (Electricity & Water Authority - Bahrain) Engineers Dealing with the Construction Department of EWA - EDD for New Jobs Liaising with the Maintenance Department for LV Emergency Jobs i-e Cable Fault Works on daily basis Liaising with the Street Light Construction department for various types of Street light jobs Liaising with the Consultants for Clearing Materials Submittals M.A.R (Material Approval Request), M.I.R (Material Inspection Request), I.T.R (Inspection & Test Request) before starting the Job and Submitting the Monthly Valuations Submitting Materials Tracking Sheet, Drawings and Method Statements Status on Monthly Basis. Coordination with the Project Director & Project Manager for preparation of advanced schedules of various R.O (Release Orders), CWR (Contract Work Orders), Way Leaves & I.T. R's Preparing Permits for various jobs Way Leave Clearance from Various Departments like (Transmission, Water, Roads, Sanitary, Batelco, Municipality, Police) Perform Pre check Documentation before Installation, Supervision of Equipment Installation and Post Check Documentation after Installation. Perform and review various controls, MS, ITP, Schematic Diagrams, Layout Diagrams and Single Line Diagrams with regular Site Monitoring.
Proven Skills for Installation of Electrical S/S Equipment's, Cable Laying, Jointing, Termination, Testing & Commissioning Works. Serve as a Site representative for all matters related in the Site & Project. Responsible in Handling Electrical Problems or Electrical Engineering issues at Work Site Generally Responsible for Implementations and Monitoring of all Electrical related Works at Work Site Estimates, Prepares & assigns the resources such as Manpower, Materials, Consumables, and Equipment's, Tools etc. required for all Electrical & related Works prior to execution. Plans the Execution of all the Electrical related works & coordinates the works to Mechanical & Civil Groups. Submits Site Daily Reports, Inspection Request, Estimates and all applicable Monitoring Reports on regular basis or as required. Manages directly & provide Engineering and Technical supports to all the Electrical Work Groups at Site. Ensures that all the Site Works are done according to all applicable Quality Standards. Directly Responsible for the safety of all Electrical Groups; Personnel of the Project by ensuring that Project execution will be done according to all applicable Health, Safety, Sanitary & Environmental Standards. Estimation of Electrical Distribution system & supervision of site works All HV / LV Cable Installation works as per EWA - EDD Standards Installation, Erection & Maintenance of all power distribution equipment's like RMU'S, Transformers, Feeder Pillars, LV Fuse Boards, ACB Panels, Earthing & related Communication and Control Works inside the Substations Installation, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Street Light Poles (8, 10, 12 & 16M) and Street Light Control Cabinets and Control Panels in Sub-Stations Preparation of Plans for each and every job before its execution Arranging Shut Down in coordination with EDD and DCC Preparing Measurements and all the necessary Invoices after finishing the jobs Preparation / Review of Design Drawings, Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings. Coordinates with the Draughtsman for preparing As-Built Drawings after Finishing and Clearing the Sites. Preparing & Submitting O&M Manual after completing the Projects.
