* Support the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure the Division maximizes its performnace
* Lead procurement of goods and services for manufacturing requirements, and projects
* Gather and consolidate requirements, direct and supervise quotes invitation and bid evaluation process
* Actively participate in supplier negotiations, and arrive at favorable commercial and delivery terms without compromising quality
* Sign off supply and service contracts and agreements and ensured PO is placed on time
* Follow up with supplier and supply chain to expedite on time delivery in full
* Track, monitor and control logistics, warehouse and inventory functions to ensure smooth delivery, storage and flow of materials
* Design, implement and monitor procurement schedules and supply chain in alignment with operation/project schedules
* Monitor and review procurement cost, identify areas of cost improvement, and formulate & implement cost reduction initiatives
* Ensure timely & cost-effective execution of all Logistics movements, while resolving problems and issues arising from logistics
movements with internal customers, including customs clearances within the framework of the local legislation
* Establish processes to enable effective management of materials storage, stock visibility, and timely delivery to internal customers
* Set clear objectives for the team and measure performance against set targets
* Oversee preparation of Monthly Budget, Agreements, Bank Guarantee from Supplier/Contractor
* Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
* Manage the performance of vendors / suppliers, ensuring all KPIs are setup and on plan as per agreed criteria
* Identifying improvement opportunities within and implement improvement programs as appropriate to enhance SC effectiveness

Led Pre-Procurement of complex packages, and services for projects under the portfolio of the company
* Led interaction between suppliers and engineering personnel to drive total cost productivity through concise and clear definition
of Contract requirements.
* Consolidation of Bids received and their analysis recommends selection and secures approvals in accordance with established
procedures.
* Provide support to estimation department on pricing for steel plates, Structure’s, piping, Components and packages etc.
Responsible for execution of the complete procurement process for complex packages, subcontracts, and services for oil and Gas, Power
and Desalination, and Tank Farm projects
Job Profile
* Ensure preparation of project specific Procurement Plan, and material plan as per requirement
* Monitor and review the progress, and control the overall procurement function as per project and company objectives
* Consolidate Procurement budget across various ongoing projects to develop an integrated Procurement budget
* Direct & control preparation of Tender /Agreement documents for all major material packages and subcontract services
* Finalize approved Suppliers & Sub contractors list as per company policy, project requirements and performance rating
* Negotiate and conclude for global procurement of big ticket items as to facilitate critical planning for projects
* Expedite execution of orders in time by debottlenecking constraints of supply and service
* Manage and participate in approval process for procurement with designated Management Committee
* Monitor Procurement budgetary allocations and ensure its compliances and properly regularize the variances
* Negotiate/approve commercial terms of contracts with the frame work of company policies and standards
* Maintain project wise PO & Subcontracts status along with related financial instruments
* Establishing rapport with critical suppliers, strategically negotiate price, quality and lead time for best interest of the projects
* Resolve issues of international procurement, Letter of credits, etc., and apply suitable INCO terms.
* Administer the selection of shipping line forwarding agency, as well as service level agreements.
* Apply Vendor rating techniques and submit vendor analysis & evaluation report based on the overall performance in terms of price,
quality, lead time, emergency support, etc.
