Selection of rotary equipments such as pumps, compressors, fans and blowers.
Preparation and issuing of job specs, selection of machines and/or equipments and evaluation of their performances.
Preparation and issuing of material requisitions.
Preparing and/or commenting the vendor’s lists.
Preparation of technical bid evaluations, follow-up activities, including checking and reviewing of vendor’s drawings and documents.
Reviewing and commenting of engineering flow diagrams and plant models participation to testing activities for special purposed machines and assistance to inspection discipline, participation to in-field commissioning and start-up of special purposed machinery.
Review and study project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones and specification from the supplied bid documents,
Prepare technical and commercial offers following the internal business rules
Analyze the indirect costs of the project such as manpower, temporary facilities, site overheads and running expenses,
Coordinate with project planner for the tendering and project schedule and resource,
Coordinate with engineering department the design and BOQ of the project, participate to the Clarification Meetings,
In coordination with sourcing group, ask and review subcontractors & suppliers quotations and participate in the negotiations,
Develop costing as part of the quotation process,
Keep and update all the records of all tendering documents,
Maintain contact with the Customer during all tendering process for clarification, negotiation and contract signing,
Clarify purchase order receipt and prepare detailed order handover documentation in a timely manner to operations department to execute the contract.

Designing and/or controlling of fire fighting and HVAC systems in refineries or special industries (Pharmaceutical etc.).

Preparing & evaluating the list of available bidding opportunities to decide which will be joined.
Preparing site visit reports after exploring the site conditions & surroundings.
Reviewing & studying the bid documents in order to verify the availability of sufficient information.
Reviewing BOQ, tender drawings, specifications, special & general conditions which have to be verified all together, in coordinating with contract administrator or legal advisor.
Quantities takeoff against available drawings.
Coordinating in preparing initial design drawings (if any).
Preparing method statements for execution of BOQ items (if required).
Coordinating with Planning & Financial department in preparing initial time schedule & cash flow taking into consideration any financial expenses.
Coordinating with Procurement Department, to collect information about market prices for suppliers & subcontractors and equipments based upon previous executed projects & recent available information, try to get the best committed prices from suitable sources.
Cost breakdown for BOQ items regarding direct & indirect costs.
Preparing the final proposal for c/w special commercial & technical terms & clarifications.
Updating all data base prices regarding all items.
Contributing in any cost breakdown related to new scope & change or variation orders.
Coordinating with sales team in preparing company profiles & prequalifications to be submitted to any new clients.
Following up with client & developer during the bid evaluation stage.
Coordinating with the Equipment department in charge to prepare the list of equipments to be submitted with tender documents
