My journey with Alutect Blinds &Shutters.
Factory supervisor - recruit staff, trained staff in all departments to manufacture and repair blinds, assist with settings and maintenance of the machinery, admin, payroll, HR, control stock (order and prepare for manufacturing), dispatch and transport completed blinds order to wholesale department.
Receptionist - screen all calls direct to the correct person, diarize daily installations, liaise with two representatives and four installers, quotes, invoicing, collect outstanding balances.
Wholesale counter sales, assist with walk - in clients and agents, invoicing handling cash and card sale on Pastel Point of Sales system.
Wholesale stock - handle emails for client’s component and fabric orders, prepare order, invoice orders, stock take monthly.
Processing - of complete blinds order, check stock availability with the stock department, prepare invoices for completed blinds orders from the factory for agents, customer queries.
Debtors - check all agents application form info with ITC. Load information on Pastel and do the credit control, mail monthly, statements, invoicing, credit notes, reconcile agents accounts, do all account queries, collections of outstanding monies. Decide on handing over bad debt with accountant and manager.
Human Recourse Administrator-Completion of all HR forms for example Leave, Provident Fund, COIDA, I arranged and co-ordinate my own interviews for possible new candidates, conduct reference checks, co-ordinate the induction of new employees, ensure that the database is kept up to date, monitoring of discrepancies on the clocking system and report to management. Preparing and issuing of warning letters, arranging all disciplinary meetings and or hearings. Manage and edit daily attendance registers as per Uniclox accurately, work together with management team and contributing towards growth.
Stand in for the General Manager as well as for the Accounts Manager when either of them is absent, adhere strictly to the POPIA law regarding confidentiality of personnel’s confidential information. Develop and implement new systems and training, procedures and policies agreed to and approved by management when necessary and assist and inform employees regarding these and any other changes, benefits, uniforms, rules regulations, etc. General office and admin duties, and all other duties as requested by management, and which might be needed from time to time. Implement all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
