Scope: Design and Construction supervision of the initiative related to flood mitigation and protection along stormwater drainage system for Qassim Municipality - Buraydah city, in addition to GIS technical support for all municipality GIS projects which includes:

Position: GIS Consultant / Qassim Municipality GIS Technical Manager
Responsibilities:
• Provide overall project GIS planning, management and advisory
• Develop strategies for project consultancy
• Geodatabase Design, Development & Management
• Conversion and QA/QC of Backlog Projects
• Confirm user requirements specification (URS) & consultancy services
• Prepare schedules and take-off timetables along technical specifications & plans for GIS system design, data modeling, migration strategy, field survey & data capture, field verification/validation, geo-spatial data rectification, data conversion, QA/QC & data acceptance framework including hardware & software configuration recommendations
• Management and coordination of all project sub-contractors & business partners including HW/SW Providers/Dealers and data conversion vendor
• Monitoring performance and workflows regarding the organization plans; establishing immediate actions to solve any deviations from QM plans ensuring meeting the project milestones and time frame
• Approve/Supervise contractors’ submission of the Project GIS Invoices
• Hydrological analysis reinforcement using various GIS analysis Techniques
• Cartographic design for high quality map production
• Plan & Conduct GIS Presentations / Orientation Seminars, Requirements Analysis & Data Modeling Workshops
• Provide onsite and offsite technical advisory and project management support
• Conduct training for QM users regarding the GIS packages & applications
• Conducting demos and presentations on the GIS web applications and respond to queries from the QM PM along related engineers
• Manage/Track the workflow for each GIS related department in QM.

Project: EEHC DCCs GIS supply with SCADA integration
Client: Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) - Egypt
Scope: Establishing and maintaining a turnkey solution of a functioning state-of-art GIS enterprise system for two distribution control centers (DCC) in Dokki and 6th of October
along the related electrical network using Esri technology to be integrated with Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
Position: GIS Consultant
Responsibilities:
Provide overall project GIS planning, management and advisory
Develop strategies for project consultancy & implementation phases
Confirm users requirements & consultancy services
Prepare technical specifications & plans for GIS system design, data modeling,
migration strategy, field survey & data capture, field verification/validation, geo-
spatial data rectification, data conversion, QA/QC & data acceptance framework
including hardware & software configuration recommendations based on EEHC
requirements
Ensure a fair & competitive tender process to allocate appropriate contractor
company for the project realization
Ensure timely & effective implementation of the project meeting spatial data
directorate & EEHC expectations
Tendering: Prepare & release RFP & Tender Evaluation & Award
Supervision of contract during project execution & maintenance
Plan & conduct GIS orientation seminars, requirements analysis & data modeling workshops
Management and coordination of all project sub-contractors & business partners including HW/SW Providers/Dealers and data conversion vendor
SLD data update and synchronization
Training, capacity building & onsite support for EEHC GIS community
*Maintain and Develop the GIS strategic plan for GWWC departments
* Prepare priority scenarios and alternative implementation scenarios

& validation, backlog management including CAD to GIS conversion, Basemap /

* Maintaining GIS data quality and integrity to support high-quality analysis, facilitate
sharing and for a smarter decision-making process using the following QA/QC tools
and techniques:
1-Reconfiguration & development of the water data model (schema) as well as the water geometric network on a regular basis (i.e. domain values, geometric network connectivity rules) to prevent errors from occurring in the first place
2- Visual data QA to detect systematic errors (i.e. overall shift in the data) as well as random errors (i.e. misspelled text)
3- Automated data QA/QC routines using ArcGIS Data Reviewer, Topology and other customized tools to verify the data accuracy and integrity along maintaining connectivity of the utility geometric network fixing the generated errors
4- Quality control on recently edited data using a versioned geodatabase to identify and resolve potential data issues (i.e. conflicting edits) followed by reconciling and posting the versions edits then compressing and backing up the data
5- Automating repetitive tasks using scripts and geoprocessing models
6- Applying the water utility data management toolbars and extensions such as "ArcFM tools" and "Water Utility Network Editing and Anlaysis" for custom editing and automatic attributes populating
7- Specific data Quality Control checks using spatial and attribute queries
8- Generate data QA/QC reports and certify data quality as per conversion specifications
* Manage GWWC subcontractors & business partners including HW/SW providers
* Monitoring performance and workflows regarding the organization plans;
establishing immediate actions to solve any deviations from GWWC plans

Conduct training for users regarding the project GIS packages & applications
Coordinating GIS-related activities with OM & Design departments
Prepare & develop procedures and technical specifications for data Assessment, Collection, Validation, Conversion, Migration and QA/QC
Revising, Updating & Developing of the Utility Data Model and Geodatabase design
Monitoring performance against plans and establishing resolution actions for any variances from plans ensuring meeting the project milestones and time frame

Performing visual & automated discrepancies identification and gap analysis regarding the collected drawings to identify the required and missing geospatial data to be surveyed
Managing and Tracking data conversion and migration workflow/editing progress by
supervising the team responsible for converting the collected data into the GIS
system as per data model requirements and specifications (ArcFM Standards)
