Duties & responsibilities:
- Overseeing a team of 250+ engineers, apprentices, carpenters, concrete laborers, general laborers, framers, other tradesmen and contractors and ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
- Planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress against established schedules.
- Representing the company on matters such as convening with top army ranking officers and providing them with progress reports and site tours as necessary.
- Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to construction manager.
- Supervising and coordinating with all project team to review all the project documents from drawings, schedules to quantities and specifications and notify the technical office of any deficiencies.
- Responsible for the resources’ allocation including manpower.
- Delegating project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
- Liaising with other entities (external and Internal) on needed tasks to complete the project on budget and on schedule.
- Managing the overall safety of the job site and relevant surrounding areas, including the safety of employees.
- Convening with consultants on a daily basis to assess the project’s progress, discuss pending issues and deciding on next steps.
- Responding to on-site emergencies professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinating and managing materials with the subcontractors, including the timely delivery, receiving, quality control, staging, secure storage, deployment and tracking of materials.
- Responsible for the final inspection and handing over of the project to the consultant when completed.
Achievements in El Galala Hotel & Resort project:
- Starting masonry till handing over of Tolip Resort El Galala Hills Hotel (including snag list).
- Façade work (curtain wall, mechanical cladding, GRC … etc.) of Tolip Resort El Galala Hills Hotel.
- Exterior & interior finishing for EL Galala Resort parcels that were contracted to Hassan Allam which consisted of 43 villas, 12 twin houses, 40 quadro chalet & 15 residential apartment buildings.
- Supervised the installation of 6 pools, 2 irrigation pump rooms & main water tank reservoir & fire reservoir for El Galala Resort and Tolip Resort El Galala Hills Hotel.
- Supervised the landscape installation of more than 40, 000 m2.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Discussed with clients the details of the requested projects to properly plan the execution of the projects in accordance to their needs.
- Prepared and submitted the needed designs, shop drawings as well as construction project budget estimates.
- Planned and prepared construction schedules and milestones, and monitored progress against established schedules.
- Represented the company on matters such as business services and contracts negotiation.
- Followed up on implementing quality control programs.
- Prepared progress reports and issued progress schedules to clients.
- Responsible for the resources’ allocation including manpower and budget.
- Supplied & installed all materials needed in each project (finishing).
- Received needed materials from suppliers and finishings from subcontractors.
- Liaised with other entities (external and Internal) on needed tasks to complete the project schedule.
- Convened with clients on a weekly basis to assess the project’s progress, obtain feedback on work performed and accordingly decide on next steps.
- Met all given construction project deadlines and budget limitations.
- Ensured that each project was built per the plans, specs, building code and delivered to the client with the highest level of quality.
- Built and maintained relationships with subcontractors, stakeholders and clients.
- Responsible for the final inspection and handing over the project to clients when completed.
