Interfacing with the Disciplines Quality Representatives and HODs regularly regarding the QMS/Quality issues and getting resolved,
Identifying the improvements required in the existing QMS documents and updating.
Conducting Quality reviews and Internal Audits as per the approved yearly schedule.
Review contract documents to ensure identification and comprehension of quality requirements.
Preparation Quality Assurance procedures and Project Quality plans.
Participate in Project discussions and Implementation of PQP requirements within the project team and assisting Project Management.
Training workshops on procedures, guides and internal standards.
Conducting Internal Audit on Engineering projects and Vendor Assessments, identifying the areas of improvement, Preventive actions and Corrective action to be implemented and reporting.
Review and approval of vendor documents
Ensure Lessons Learned and improvements are identified and reported during project execution.
Stage by stage inspection in compliance to PO/PR/ITP and expediting of Pressure vessel, storage tanks and Columns
Coordinate the issue of non-conformance reports through the site QA manager
Witness of Maintenance inspection and Modifications during shut downs in equipment’s and piping.
Liaison with Maintenance, Engineering & Project teams to ensure job and execution as per inspection requirements.
Qualification of welders and witnessing NDE during shutdown/ modifications.
Witnessing Hydro test and mechanical clearance.
Thickness gauging of tanks, columns and Vessels. PMI inspection and loop clearance before commissioning.
Inspection of Pressure Safety Valves (PSV), refurbishment & testing.
Witnessing of stage by stage inspections activities as per ITP/QAP of Tanks in PIT, COT, and Utility areas and offshore Pipe laying.
Preparation and Implementation of Quality Control procedures and ITP’s
Establishing of QC, NDT & Inspection Procedures, documentation of inspection records
Conducting PQR and Welder Qualification Tests for welding processes like SMAW, SAW, and GTAW.
Stage wise Inspection as per QC plan like Material Identification, fit up, PMI, weld visual, NDT clearance, Dimension Check, hydro test, Mechanical Clearance.
Inspection of Raw materials, Review of Material test certificates
Coordination with Site Engineer /Contractors for Site Inspection and testing and Documentation.
Liaison with third party inspection Agencies.
Punch List preparation and liquidation as a part of Handover/Takeover activity of critical equipment’s like column, vessels, tanks, etc.
Monitor any Post Weld Heat Treatment on site and review the completed test reporting
