Project Description: Skechers U.S.A., Inc. (Skechers), incorporated in 1992, designs and markets Skechers-branded lifestyle footwear for men, women and children several lines. In addition to skechers-brandedlines, the company also offers several branded fashion and street-focused footwear lines for men, women and children. The company operates in four segments: domestic wholesale sales, international wholesale sales, retail sales and e-commerce sales.
To meet their customer needs they decided to build a Data Warehouse to analyze key factors like the total sales revenue on the monthly quarterly basis on the region and seasonal wise. In order to provide the critical information like daily revenue, total sales, goals and new plans, the company developed business intelligence system suite of products. Reports are generated for top management using OBIEE.
Roles & Responsibilities: As a Developer: • Created Reports, prompts and Filters using OBIEE10g.
• Created dashboard pages and sections.
• Developed the Reports for various Areas of subject using OBI Answers.
• Created Reports with graphical representation such as Bar charts, pie charts.
• Added new users and assigned them to appropriate groups for visibility to reports and dashboards
• Worked on BI Answers to create the reports as per the client requirements.
• Defined static and dynamic repository variables to modify metadata content dynamically to adjust to a changing data environment.
• Formatted the Reports as per the Client requirement.
As a Tester: • Created test cases for various reports.
• Tested UI testing, Data Validation testing and Performance testing.
