• Key role in structuring the Risk management plan with Alba insurers, FM Global in developing risk assessment including risk mitigation for the entire Power station.
• Identify alternatives for obsolete equipment by Modification Proposals & Implementation ensuring reliability and availability of the plant.
• Extensively worked in maintenance of Gas Turbines namely GE Frame 5 machines with Mark II controls, Alstom GT13D and GT13E2 with Procontrol and 800XA, Advant DCS.
• Extensively worked in Bailey/Infi N90 DCS, Yokogawa Centum 3000 DCS, Alan Bradley PLC and Siemens PLC based controls systems for Air and Gas compressor stations and Water treatment plants.
Installation and Commissioning of Electrics, Control and instrumentation for power station
• Installation and commissioning of Station DCS and Instrumentation of Thermal Power station.
• Instrumental in troubleshooting various longstanding chronic problems power generator excitation systems in various power stations.
• Commissioning of Thyristorised Static Excitation Systems & Automatic voltage regulators for Power Generators up to 210MW in various Thermal & Hydro Power Stations in India.
• Installation and commissioning of Thyristorised AC/DC drives for automation of steel plants.
