Over many years development has been made in an attempt to provide effective brakes to help them stop quickly and easy to use. But the drawback that has been around is energy lost due to braking. In our testing we are attempting to stop the vehicle by use of such a braking system where the stopping distance is minimum, friction, wear are eliminated and also has low maintenance and easy to repair. the main principle being adopted here is the generation of eddy current in a paramagnetic material when moved across a magnetic field. This mechanical engineering project can be easily completed by integrating an electric motor with a screw jack. A screw jack or a Jackscrew is operated by turning a lead screw. The height of the jack is adjusted by turning the lead screw. This can be done either manually or by integrating an electric motor with it. This integration is our project. The main aim was to reduce the strength and power required to use a ordinary screw jack specially for the ladies and old peoples. Organization B.V.Bhoomaraddi College Of Engineering & Technology Technology CATIA V5, Solid Edge Description Increasing demand for energy have triggered interest in novel combustion technologies that use alternative fuels as energy sources. Of these Compressed natural gas (CNG) Our approach for alternate fuels was on dealing with CNG along with bio-diesel in order to determine the performance characteristics like specific fuel consumption, brake thermal efficiency and emission properties of both induction and injection method and compare it with the pure diesel. The result indicated that CNG-Bio diesel induction result in slightly higher brake thermal efficiency at higher load compared to injection modes. Also induction mode gave more smoke, CO and HC compared to injection mode. NOx emission was similar for both the modes.
