logistics training services in support of the Afghan National Army (ANA) Commandos to augment Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Afghanistan (CJSOTF-A) with trainers to train and fully field Commando (CDO) Kandaks (KDKs) for the ANA.

With the primary goal of the Forward Support Company (FSC) Trainer/Mentor to train the CDOs and directly enable them to perform their duties independently in accordance with the Ministry of Defense (MoD) Decree, ANA CDO Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ANA CDO Decree.

As the Forward Support Company (FSC) Trainer/Mentor; I strive to meet these specified overall objectives by providing the necessary training and skills to the FSC Commander and Staff to successfully operate independently without the support of U.S. trainers and military over a course of time.

Overall Training objectives are, but not limited to the following: * Property management, policies, accountability and procedures IAW Decree 4.2

* MoD supply and property book procedures for all Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) items and Operational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE)

* Advise the FSC Commander on logistics matters that affect the accomplishment of the FSCs missions, and execute ANSF Fielded Forces logistic policies;
* Monitors critical classes of supply support, local procurement and allocates facilities and Logistics resources available to the FSC
* Develop the ability to foresee future operations and identify, accumulate, and maintain the assets, capabilities, and information required to support them to include fuel, ammunition, spear parts and food

The focal point for all aspects of the project logistics (CL IX) needs to include spares and provisioning. Reliability and maintainability predictions and generation of provisioning documentation; providing on-location field service support of logistics requirements to enhance inventory assessment and resolve equipment-related problems. Provide reports on quality and productivity enhancements. Provide knowledge of the Logistics Support Analysis process as required. Plan and track deliveries of technical data to the customer; host contractually required U.S. Government / contractor logistics meetings, planned and implemented a system to track and report on reliability and maintainability performance on equipment in the field. * Serves as the Joint Program Office (JPO) Deputy. Responsible for deprocessing and issuing MATV's. Coordinating with JPO maintenance team on a daily basis to resolve all maintenance, fielding, sustainment Battle Damage and Repair (BDR) and personnel issues; Conduct teleconference, provide necessary reports, briefing and policies on all things MRAP - JPO FWD. Implemented policies which improved the safety of the project and enhanced the moral of the staff;
* Sustainment Site Lead for all sustainment maintenance, Battle Damage Repair and Capabilities Insertion (upgrades) at an austere MRAP sustainment site in Afghanistan in support of several MRAP variants with the Joint Program Office.
