I joined Mc Auto Gateway in September 2003 and what seemed to have started off as just very basic technician duties, turned out to be workshop foreman and relief branch manager when the manager was away on leave. Telephonically booking and loading of job cards, pricing of servicing to vehicles and personally liaising with customers, test driving of repaired vehicles. Engine overhauls, wheel alignment, skimming of brakes and various other services relating to the vehicles. Bought by McCarthy.

Natal Training centre Advance training – attended a course which included the following subjects: Batteries, brakes and hydraulics, Air brake over hydraulics, Gear box 5 speed , Measure dash fittings, Wheel alignment differential, valve refurbishing, injectors and spill timing. I attained a certificate with an overall A aggregate.
