• Planning and managing project schedules, including monitoring and updating project progress against established timelines and budgets.
• Coordinating, and monitoring the daily construction work program to achieve the monthly target as per the master program. (Pipe laying - transmission and distribution mains)
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Facilitating and coordinating project meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.
• Liaising with relevant property owners, Road Development Authority, the Ceylon Electricity Board, Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) and Sri Lanka Telecom for the proper continuation of the project.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures.
• Provided assistance with materials testing as needed.
