As a marine civil engineer, it is my duty and responsibility to ensure that all marine construction work items such as dredging, reclamation and ground improvement, construction of quay wall, breakwater, revetment are in adherence to project specifications and international standards. Manage, supervise monitor and deliver the project work items in timely, safe, efficient and to the best quality.

Civil Inspector in ARAMCO - Project Inspection Division PID at MYDP - King Salman International Complex for Maritime Industries and Services. Inspection works in cast-in-situ bored piles, secant wall piles construction works, Quaywall precast concrete blocks and breakwater precast blocks construction works, monitoring quality in concrete batching plant.
Including Document Transmittal reviews.
Assist the Resident Engineer
- check and give approval of construction drawings and details
- Quantity Survey (QS)
- review and check construction methods
- review and check materials submittals
- make sure works are executed according to project specifications as to materials (concrete, cement, aggregates, reinforcements, reclamation fill, breakwater rocks) quality check and testing.
- inspect all civil work items and assign inspection works to inspectors and surveyors and review their reports.
- conduct formworks and reinforcements inspection
- check concrete quality during concreting
- Check asphalt quality during asphalt works
Assist to Engineering Manager in all civil projects.
- work along side with consultant in preparing Tender Documents
- Inspect, evaluate and monitor civil projects making sure all works executed as per contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications and in accordance to standards.
- Coordinate, conduct weekly project progress meetings with consultant and contractor.
- Evaluate as Quantity Surveyor of monthly invoices of contractor according to progress.
- Submit weekly, monthly reports and presentation for all civil projects
- Assist maintenance department for maintenance works, conduct checking to maintenance works, give design and proposals to maintenance superintendent.
- implement the works according to structural drawings
- coordinate with other engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, architect) during the course of the project
- conduct stressing of post-tension girders, beams, slabs for building projects
- conduct stressing of post-tension girders for bridge projects
- QA & QS
- prepares daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and submit to project manager
- prepares site work schedule

University diploma i got after i graduated the 5-year engineering course in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
