Responsibilities:
o I was mainly responsible to perform activities related to reservoir engineering segment and also to work on the tasks given by the officers related to production and drilling engineering segments
Achievements:
o Worked very hard with full dedication & sincerity and completed all the tasks assigned to me in very efficient manner
o I have not only fulfilled the expectations of the officers but also delivered much more than what was being expected to be delivered by me
• During my job tenure, I learned following things:
o Wells and reservoir performance analysis
o Well test analysis for evaluating parameters like skin factor, pressure drop across skin, formation permeability, reservoir pressure and productivity index
o Estimation of contact oil volume and recovery factor from material balance
o Calculation of water influx volume in water drive reservoirs
o Determination of the water fraction of total fluid flow from the fractional flow curve at a particular location and time in a reservoir waterflood/water drive reservoir and the effects of mobility ratio in fractional flow of water
o Identification of suitable IOR/EOR techniques based on the reservoir characteristics, reservoir performance and oil properties
o Working out oil and gas production profiling using classical reservoir engineering approach
o Techniques of effective commingled oil and gas production from different reservoirs
o Effective viscous oil production techniques
o Basic concepts related to drilling engineering
o Basic understanding of log correlation, log interpretation and seismic data interpretation
o Presentation skills

I was working as an Engineering Intern in the company. During Internship, I worked on project: Artificial Lift - Sucker Rod Pump.
• Project dealt with:
o Literature study of sucker rod pump
o Basics of sucker rod pump
o Design of sucker rod pump through conventional method and Rodstar software
o Optimization of sucker rod pump that helps to minimize cost, improve efficiency and increase the effective production
o Diagnostic & Troubleshooting by dynamometer analysis
