Basic Function: \n• Compounding and dispensing medications and prescriptions \n• Providing drug information to patients \n• Participating in continuing education and training programs \n• Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for all drugs \n• Updating patient’s profiles and pharmacy records \n \nPharmacist In-Charge for OPD/In-Patients \nArea of Responsibility: \nOPD Pharmacy Service \nIn-Patient Pharmacy Service \nPrincipal Duties: \n• Regular review of unit-dose orders, order entry and IV admixtures \n• Day to day patient care rounds \n• Auditing of medications and supplies at the nursing units \n \nPharmacist In-Charge at Special Pharmacy Unit \nArea of Responsibility: \nComprehensive Antibiotic Assistance Program ( CAAP ) \n& Compounding Pharmacy Service \nPrincipal Duties: \n• Coordinating with the Infectious Disease Section (IDS) fellows/ consultants \n• Preparing and dispensing antibiotics to patients enrolled on CAAP \n• Preparing paper-tabs, internal and external liquid preparations requests \n• Compounding antidotes and preparing TPN IV admixture \n \nPharmacist In-Charge for Paying In-Patients \nArea of Responsibility: \nPaying-In Patient Pharmacy Service \nPrincipal Duties: \n• Checking and reviewing the drugs and supplies for delivery \n• Conducting patient care rounds \n• Evaluating and verifying the new medication orders \n \nPharmacist In-Charge for Donor Constituents \nArea of Responsibility: \nDonor Constituents, Pharmacy Service: \nPrincipal Duties: \n• Verifying and evaluating of all medical abstract \n• Dispensing medications, supplies and records all approved drug orders
