A nurse promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; Assess, plan, intervenes, evaluate patients who seek medical attention which is within the limits of the set-up and facilities of the clinic/hospital; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members.Maintain confidentiality of patient’s records and other information regarding their needs/cases.
Receive patients and prepare them for necessary dental procedures.Prepare the clinic for dental treatment with correct instruments and materials for use as directed by the doctor. Record findings from oral examinations.Provide instruments and dispense materials during oral examinations or treatments. Assist the doctor and clear the patient's mouth of saliva or dental materials used in the treatment by operating handheld suction or air and water-spraying equipment.Clean and sterilize instruments used after treatment.Clean and tidy the surgery, and implement standard decontamination procedures for infection control.Process, mouth and file dental X-rays maintain and restock dental supplies.Perform routine care and maintenance of dental equipment and instruments make appointments for patients, keep records of patients' treatments and send out reminders for re-examinations.
Provides immediate resuscitative response to any patient with critical conditions. Assess, plan, intervenes, evaluate patients who seek medical and surgical attention which is within the limits of the set-up and facilities of the hospital. Monitor patients stability and comfort and making sure they are given proper care and also alleviate pain and discomfort of patient. Carry out doctors orders carefully. Give medications (oral, IM, IV, SQ) as ordered by the physicians. Giving pre and post-op to patients undergoing operations. Prevent or minimize bedsores of patients. Endorse all the doctors orders to the receiving nurses as well as edorse all medical treatments started to the patient. Give advice, support and health teachings to patients and relatives. Maintain confidentiality of patients records and other information regarding their cases.
