Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensuring that HSE requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the
OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, 45001 standards, including the following tasks;
to control and issue all HSE documentation;
to ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirement and environmental awareness
Implementing the Project HSE Plan, Procedures.
* Conducting internal audit & site safety inspection
* Manage safe work procedure creation and revisions during planning and execution of work with the
site contractors.
Carrying out regular workplace inspections and reporting same to the Safety Manager
* Prepared, conducted, and coordinated new employee and annual refresher safety training and
orientations.
* Generate Documentation/ Evidence for each candidates being trained.
* Executes Work Permitting process and acts as the Safety Resource for authorization of hot work,
confined space, lifting permits and other site related jobs.
* Prepare weekly and monthly HSE highlights.
* Carrying out regular workplace inspections and reporting same to the Safety Manager.
* Carrying out Incident Investigations and Reporting.
* Conduct daily Toolbox meetings/ Inspection of tools and Equipment prior to commencement of daily
job.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for assurance that the project is kept in compliance with all Occupational Safety, Health
and Environment Regulations.
• Prepare / provide a safety induction briefing to new team members and visitors to site.
• Facilitate in-house training/awareness for all contractors.
• Monitors compliance of contractors to all HSE Procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with the contractors and manage the corporate emergency response of the main client.
• Reviews and approves all safety plans
• Planned and Coordinate all HSE activities working with UDC Project and the HSE system for high-rise
building.
• Enforced compliance to all procedures and standards by the contractors.
• Evaluation of HSE performance of contractors and site team and recommend improvement alternatives
where necessary.
• Assist the contractors and vendors in meeting the HSE requirements as well as the specific project and
corporate goals /objectives.
Communicate and enforce company security.
* Assist the Company Safety and Security manager to develop procedures for the emergency response,
physical security, incident management and investigation.
* Assisted in designing security policies, alarm response protocols and access card guidelines.
* Assisting the Safety and Security Manager to establish basic project safety/security rules and
regulations.
* Monitored entire facilities of the company using CCTV while simultaneously performing dispatch
duties.
* Managing a security staff of 60 associates.
* Conducted investigations regarding suspected incidents of theft, property damage and workplace
violence.
* Continuously monitored security cameras and fire, building and alarm systems
