Job Description:
-Monitoring materials testing both in lab and in site to ensure the GC compliance to the standards before handing over the work to the owner's consultant
-Advice the GC about the appropriate methods to use for the different items of the project
-Visiting Crushers and Plants to ensure appropriate adaptation of the storage, mixing and production of different mixes (aggregate, concrete and asphalt)
-Preparing different mix designs as per the international and local specs.
-following up with the owner's consultant the approval of materials, designs and submittals.
-Following up with third party labs.
-checking and monitoring calibration of lab instruments and devices
-controlling documents and keeping files and logs on daily, weekly and monthly basis and making sure that they accessible
Practical Skills :
Hans-on experience in performing and monitoring of the following tests for roads and bridges Projects :-
1- (SAND CONE)
2-moisture content determination test
soil and materials classification( GRADATION& ATTERBERG LIMITS)((ASHTO))
3-Maximum dry density test(proctor) California bearing ratio test(CBR )
4-concrete and asphalt aggregates quality tests:

SAND EQUIVALENT (PLASTIC FINES DETERMINATION)
CLAY LUMPS FRIABLE PARTICLES
LOSS BY ABRASION (LOS ANGELES MACHINE)
