Employed by the Operator (EMPC) as the Pipeline Construction Lead on the ExxonMobil Angore Phase 2 project.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for daily interaction/ management of the prime contractor (Wood PLC) and pipeline installation
sub-contractor (Nacap Australia). Input for development of pipeline scope documents and procedures/
method statements
* Review and comment on pipeline and HDD Technical / engineering documents
* Working with contractor engineering team in development of project welding procedures and resolution of
welding issues.
* Oversight management on the installation of two pipelines, (14” gas line and 2” MEG line in the same
trench), plus all Brownfield tie-in works.
* Approval of work methodologies for steep volcanic slopes (35
o
plus, very narrow working Right of Way (8.0m
in some areas) with installation between two existing live pipelines (~5 m apart) and very deep excavations

* Successfully managed cost reductions per wellpad from $1.0Mn per wellpad down to $290K via
nonessential scope reduction and management of change
* Responsible for all aspects of the construction and execution planning and installation works
(including de-oiling and re-commissioning of the pipeline system).
* Directing the marine vessel inspection and audit team and approval of resources prior to mobilization.
* Managing a multidiscipline team of superintendents, engineers and technicians, and interface with
JVO operations and prime and installation contractor from contract negotiations through to
construction and HAZOP reviews, execution planning, installation and commissioning
