Responsibilities and achievement:
Work planed (installation, commissioning, and acceptance) to assign the work to subcontractor and intracom field engineers.
Rollout follow-up by received reports from the sit mangers, subcontractors, analyses find so-lution for problems.
Reported to upper management and our customer(STE)

Syrian Telecom Establishment \[S.T.E.\]: Chief of Network Microwave Department
Responsibilities and achievement :
Deputy Manager of the O&M Departmnet for analogue and digital Microwave systems
Responsibilities:
• Develop O&M work routines for the daily business of the O&M Department
• Technical support & assistance for the installed SDH/PDH Digital Microwave system \[DMW systems from Marconi/Bosch, Siemens, Alcatel, Nera, HUAWEI, Ericson & NEC\], for the S.T.E. Microwave network nationwide \[rural and backbone network\]
• Staffing/organising the O&M department and the staff at the 14 provinces of Syria
• High level technical support/trouble shooting & performance analysis, system installation.
• Guiding remotely the assigned PDH/SDH digital as well as analogue Microwave and UHF/VHF single/multi channel system O&M engineers / technicians at the 14 provinces during the trouble shooting, new activation, preventive maintenance and fault analysis
• Provisional and final acceptance testing of new digital SDH Microwave systems/links
• Preparation of monthly O&M reports for the S.T.E. higher Management, specially the O&M Directorate at HQ S.T.E. Damascus
• Assist in preparation of technical specifications as well as in evaluating finally the tenders for all kind of wireless communication technologies such as Microwave \[SDH & PDH\], UHF/VHF, WLL PMP, WLL CDMA and GSM.
• Follow up & supervise new microwave project in respect to link survey, installation and PAT/FAT
• Follow up & supervise paging project of Syrian Telecom Establishment
• Supervision and follow up of the O&M/warranty period for the installed WLL PMP and/or WLL CDMA-, Paging-, Microwave- & UHF/VHF- systems
• Project Manager for the pilot WLL CDMA project at Damascus-Yaafor/Syria
Member of the Planning, design & evaluation committee of the 3rd rural project at
Syrian Telecom Establishment.
Responsible:
• Assistance to the European Commission project ‘Telecom Sector Support Program \[TSSP\]’ concerning SDH Microwave network design for the non-served rural areas
• Assistance in preparation of technical specification and tender documents for Wireless Local Loop ‘Point-to-Multi Point’ systems \[WLL-PMP\] and UHF/VHF multi channel systems
• Technical tender evaluation for WLL PMP, W-CDMA and UHF/VHF multi channel systems
