I teach more than 5 different courses and many lab courses. I have more than 600 hours of teaching experience. The covered courses are: Antenna, Radar, Satellite, Embedded systems, Electromagnetism, Calculus IV, Telecom I and II, digital electronics.

Theme: Innovative DEsign Architecture for Thin electronic steering Antenna (IDEATA)
Objectives: propose technological developments for low cost active phased array antennas. Develop efficient
models for optimization of broadband multi-layered antennas and broadband beam forming network.
Tasks:
* Design and fabrication of a thin tile consisting of an 4x4 antenna array with a 16 channels beamforming
network
* Complex antenna simulation and array synthesis/ analysis
* Development of an extrapolation / interpolation method to extend small array data to large array data
* Rigorous electromagnetic simulations to extract base material permittivity
* Modeling and Characterizing of Active devices (power amplifiers, mixer, low noise amplifier, multi-
function-chips)
* Analysis of interactions between active components and circulator electromagnetic environment

Studying interaction between antennas and power amplifiers in order to quantify the distortion and predict the performance of power amplifiers in the presence of an antennas array.

Tasks:
• Optimization of an array of antennas in TX chains

• Development and experimental characterization of an electromagnetic array macro-model that accounts for the strong mutual coupling among microstrip antennas.

• Bilateral behavioral modeling of power amplifiers based on nonlinear scattering functions which allows taking into account large output loading impedance mismatches

• Building a demo to validate theoretical aspects
