Apart from these, I also coordinated various projects both internally among colleagues and externally with clients and resource people.
I developed creative concepts and copy for various advertising and marketing strategies in Expression, as well as understood the market and audience of this region.
As an intern I worked mostly on radio advertisements, print advertisements and a launch campaign which included virals, radio, print, television and ambient media.
Specialising in Print and Electronic Journalism. Recieved Award for Academic Excellence. Developed a sound research methodology and excellent time management skills as I managed work with my education. I worked on various college projects in partnership with organisations like Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), DC Books, Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) and more. Created and conceptualised an entire magazine - from topic and content to layout and printing.
Discovered my love for organising teams and managing people, to help them realise their potential and achieve outstanding results. Headed the publications department of the University's CSR wing. Nominated as part of the Student Council, and selected Vice President of its Holistic Education team. Conceptualised, organised and successfully set in motion two state-wide fests for journalism students. Played key roles in producing theatre performances. Spearheaded the publication of a magazine for the Journalism Department of the University. Completed three research papers. One was nominated to be presented at the 'National Symposium on Thinking Subjectivities' in 2011.
