MEP Section Manager reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for the launching of the Project, the preparation and setup of MEP construction team, developing the Project processes, work flow charts and initiating the Procurement process. We have completed the award of the 4 main Subcontracts for which I was involved in the Tender process and the Final Evaluation (HSE, QAQC, Technical and Commercial). I was leading a team of 6 expatriate engineers managing the preparation and the early Construction works of the Project including the Procurement Harmonization of major project materials & equipment in coordination with the selected Subcontractors and proposed Suppliers, overlooking the techno-commercial solutions, Material Submissions and the Design coordination.

Systems Construction Manager reporting to the Project Manager, following the completion and close out phases of more than 16 Systems of across the Project for all Stations, Tunnel Section and at grade Track including Tunnel Ventilation, Environment Control, Fire Detection, SCADA, CCTV, Tetra, BLS, BBRS, CCS, PAS, PIS, ACS, etc.. I was leading a team of 5 expatriate engineers managing all Systems Subcontractors (Thales, Schneider, Abantia, HCOM, etc.) close out phase for the works up to the final handover to the local authorities, including subcontracts’ claims assessments, procurement of spare parts and REX (return of experience).

“Construction of underground Metro comprised of 32km of Tunnels and 5 underground Stations” below central Doha, Qatar. Delivering word class project having ATKINS / 3TI lead designer, Hyder Consulting and Aurecon as independent certifier.)
MEP Station Manager reporting to the MEP Manager, following the complete MEP scope of work for 1 Metro Station, 4 Entrances with underpasses and 4 Metro Tunnel Sections. I was leading a team of 3 expatriate engineers managing Subcontracts for all MEP systems (from contract agreements to completion phase), Vertical & Horizontal transportation systems and Building Automation. Moreover, we have worked to ensure coordination between all disciplines, on time procurement and achieve milestones and project completion as per schedule. In addition to above, we have enforced site HSE (awarded the Golden Helmet for safety), followed Progress and Quality to ensure compliance with the project requirements, local regulations & authorities (ASHGHAL, KAHRAMA, QCDD, QCS, MOI) and international codes (BS, NFPA). As a leading member of the T&C team completed successfully all systems Commissioning for all 5 Metro Stations, their Entrances and Tunnels and achieved approval from Civil Defense (QCDD) and local authorities, for the final handover to client and public.

Project Engineer reporting to the MEP Manager, following major MEP Procurement Activities, initiating tendering processes (ITT), reviewing proposals, producing TOCs, conducting risk analysis and submitting techno-commercial evaluations. Upon packages awarding, I was leading a team of 4 engineers managing Subcontracts for Electrical and ELV Systems including state of the art Parking Management System and all Elevators. We have completed successfully all systems T&C and achieved approval from all local authorities and final handover to client and public within less than 3 months.

Head Electrical Engineer leading a construction team of 4 engineers, 9 foremen and more than 250 electricians, reporting to the construction manager, initially responsible for the Procurement process including their Technical & Commercial Evaluation and thereafter responsible for the Construction and Commissioning of 3 MV Substations (11kV) and all Electrical Systems and ELV Services to numerous Industrial Buildings, including LV Power Distribution serving both On Shore and Off Shore Marine applications of the Shipyard.

MEP Design Engineer and Consultant designed LV Power Distribution, Lighting, Small Power, Instrumentation as well as Potable water and central Heating, producing drawings for local authorities and construction team. Following the initial design, I have worked mainly being Owner’s Engineer ensuring progress is according to the plan and budget, managing resources and reassuring the quality of works. Upon construction completion I was responsible to inspect on client’s behalf all above systems Commissioning up to final handover.

Construction Electrical Engineer for the Installation, Testing and Commissioning of External Medium Voltage (20kV) Substation, MV/LV cable pulling and LV Power Distribution to several equipments at the Quarry’s front.

VENUS MARBLE CO INDUSTRY (US $15 Million)
“Construction of new Industrial Facilities and Marble Production Line” in Athens
Consultant for Industrial Line, Automation and MEP Services at the construction of the new Industrial Buildings and Lines for processing marble (~20, 000m2). I had managed and supervised the construction of Medium Voltage Substations (3MVA), all MEP Services and ELV Systems (CCTV, Access Control and PAGA) with highlight achievement the complete installation testing, start up and final commissioning of industrial automated line for cutting, polishing and processing marble blocks, slabs and tiles from Breton/Italy.

Work contract on a Research of the Agricultural University of Athens concerning the “Cultivation of Energy Crops”. The Research was funded by European Union ($5M) following market intentions for renewable and biofuel energy sources and I was involved at the Data Base processes and the Result Evaluation of the over 3000 samples.
