DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MAJOR DUTIES: Maintain smooth production flow such as the following: 1. Supports in implementing lean manufacturing methodologies and Yokohama Production System methodologies
2. Schedules the needed molds for curing prior to production.
i. Projects issuance time and issue the necessary kanban as per mold ordering system like preparation, assembly, pre heating, and set up / set down kanban based on tire depletion at curing
ii. Schedules timing of kanban mold issuance of test tire articles
iii. Schedules mold reduction timing with confirmation on tire building in process and actual green tire stock
iv. Coordinates with Curing and Mold Supervisor in case of special activities on mold or in case of curing machine "give way" situation
3. Orders the start up article on the special leadtime define on the mold ordering system
i. Project ordering time of start up articles by checking actual stock condition on the line
ii. Order the start up article based from tire depletion at curing and on leadtime specified on mold ordering system
iii. Monitor articles coming from newly inch change tire building machine to minimize waiting downtime
iv. Coordinates with UF team with regards to Initial Production article's UF measurement result
v. Coordinates with Production & Technology for the initial 12 tires start up & result timing issuance follow up 4. Maintains tire building-curing process smooth production flow.
5. Performs other duties as may be required from time to time.
