I am in charge of the design and reporting of Geotechnical investigations and geotechnical structures such as sheet piles, piles (single and in groups), retaining structures (concrete, L shape, masonry, gabions) making use of different softwares available (Midas soilworks, Slope/W, Tedds Tekla, Wallap, HoleBaseSI, MacStars Maccaferri). Generally involved in Highways schemes but also include Rail.
Experience on site investigations, quotation of projects, and full design and reporting.
As a Critical Rail Temperature coordinator and holder of safety paperwork, I have organized and kept documents updated. I am part of the management team increasing the levels of proficiency and efficiency of the information taken on site, introducing an improved, simpler and compacted way of delivering it. I help the team to keep compliant with the Rail Industry’s standards, namely DWWP and Grip4Track. I share responsibility of regular Project reviews to identify issues and escalate them prior to commencement of works.
