• Masterminded and developed a computerised method to use coal washabilities to optimise a coal mine's product range and exploit a coal deposit in the most financially efective way for maximum profits.
• Open pit design and mine planning based on geological, geotechnical, engineering and financial parameters
• Gave lectures internationally on computerised 3D modelling, geostatistics and grade control.
