Managed a team of 15 software engineers (web and mobile developers), analysts and designers to
develop new competitive features in Equadis digital catalog.
* Created a new mobile development department and managed multiple native mobile applications
projects.
* Proposed and managed the development of a new monitoring system for Equadis’ clients to follow
their data, in real time. This module was a major competitive advantage for Equadis, knowing that
none of Equadis’ competitors offers a similar functionality.
* Gave presentations to our clients in France explaining the company’s future projects and the new
functionalities provided.
Main projects realized at Equatech:
* ShareEat: Managed a team of 6 software engineers to develop ShareEat, an e-commerce platform that
allows people to meet around food. Built the application using responsive web technologies and native
mobile applications (Android and iOS).
* BeLive: Built up the idea of using the new Bluetooth Low Energy technology to allow shop owners
to interact in real time with their customers, by sending them interactive animations flows to their
Smart Phones.
Planned the development of the solution and managed a team of 5 resources (designers and
developers) to implement the solution which is now known as BeLive. Participated in presenting the
solution in two major trade exhibitions in Europe (EquipMag Paris, 2014 - eCom Geneva, 2015).
Led and managed the development of several poker training applications now on the market, using
C#.Net and PHP.
* Managed a team of 5 developers, working online from around the world, to implement all these
projects, from the analysis phase, to development, licensing of the applications, online payment
system, security, server management, testing, production and maintenance phase.
* Managed and participated in the development of a Windows application (on C# .Net) that uses
advanced pattern recognition to help online poker player discover their leaks, and how to optimize
their playing style based on their cards, and on their opponents’ patterns.
* Developed a Windows application (on C# .Net) that simulates a variety of scenarios and quizzes that
help online poker players evolve their decision-making process when playing on a real table.
Developed and published technical solutions (mostly using Java) related to Supply Chain
Management, to help suppliers exchange their products' information with the retailers (B2B) and with
their consumers (B2C: e-commerce websites, mobile applications).
* Contributed in choosing technologies and frameworks, took decisions related to the ergonomics of
the applications, and participated in the development phase.
* Participated in the development of a new version for EQUADIS online catalog web application, using
Struts2, Spring and Ibatis Frameworks.
Completed 82 online freelance projects in different domains and programming languages (Web/Windows apps, Java, C#.Net, VB.Net, PHP, jQuery, SQL Server, etc.) with full client satisfaction, giving me the status of a 'Top Coder' on the site.
Developed multiple scripts using C# .Net to scrap data from big directories such as amazon.com, cali-pi.com, woot.com, angieslist.com, and others.
Came up with different programming techniques to overcome scraping detection, such as random waiting time between requests, rotating the IP, using proxies, spoofing the user-agent and using different crawling patterns.
