I am working as a Senior Officer on a solid waste management project that funded by EU and GIZ, which provided many job opportunities for vulnerable Syrians and Jordanians, including:
 Manage the Cash For Work Activities:
• Capacity building for the cooperative in (coordination, monitoring, social security registration, issue work permits, reporting, financial procedures, data entry, CFWs training, occupational Safety Training)and continuous monitoring and follow-up of their work in able to manage the CFWs activities to the fullest.
• Preparing advance plans for (the CFWs cycles starting dates, numbers required for each activity, CFWs transportation) during the project duration to ensure that there is no delay. IBVs
• Supervise the financial affairs of CFWs and cooperatives by providing them with ATM cards, collecting social security statements and daily attendance sheets, reflecting them on the payroll sheet and sending them to the finance department on a monthly basis. In addition to filling CFWs information and their attendance sheets on the GIZ system on a daily basis.
• Plan and support logistics needs (PPE’s, inventory, refreshments etc..).
• Documentation process as following up on the preparing regular reports, action plans and follow up and feedback tools.
 Manage and coordinate cleaning, planting and awareness campaigns:
• Coordination with the municipality and the cooperative to identify the targeted workplaces and prepare a work plans for that.
• Training and guidance about the work mechanism for the workers and the training material for awareness sessions.
• Training markets owners on sorting waste from the source and giving them containers to separate cardboard and plastic, and coordinating with them and the municipality to collected by the municipality on a regular basis.
 Manage the compost unit:
• Managing a compost producing by making sure of the quality of raw materials tomeets the standards, prepare operational plans and supervise the daily activities for mixing and curing the compost piles.
• Design plans and tools for monitoring and following up on composting processes.
• Did Assessments for local farms to assess the specifications needed for the product.
• Management and continues monitoring of the sampling process of the product to ensure it is in accordance with the required standards and specifications.
 Manage a scrap dealers micro grants:
• Assessment and info collection for the scrap dealers in the Azraq and coordinate their trainings about the occupational safety and solid waste management.
• Managing of giving small grants to scrap dealers to purchase occupational safety kits and equipment necessary to develop their business, and continuous monitoring and follow-up to them.

Water treatment and management engineer at Hammoudeh Food Industries Company

• Ensuring that the station works correctly and follows up on the lack of any issues.
• Conduct periodic daily checks on water in multiple treatment stages and ensure that is within the required level.
• Adding the necessary chemicals regularly and accurately.
• Maintain the PH and oxygen ratios within aeration basins within their indicators to ensure correct treatment and not to affect the bacteria.

• Prepare and provide plans to save water reduce losses and reuse it.
• Responsible for the supply of steam to the plant (boilers) and the work of daily and weekly checks on it.
• Preparation of detailed tables in all tests conducted.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Periodic visits to water desalination plant (RO) supplied to the factory to perform some tests and to verify the validity of the water for use inside the factory and its facility.

Outreach & Livelihood assistant at Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

• Provide job opportunities for 180 adult Syrians refugees in Azraq town reserves as Cash for Work worker with green infrastructure project and ensure workers having a sustainable work.
• Provide agricultural and structural work permits for Syrians to ensure they are working legally.
• Making a referral matrix for whole Azraq town, agencies .associations. Nongovernmental and governmental organizations and try to involve the beneficiaries with these organizations to ensure a sustainable work for them.
• Distribute grants and micro grants for the beneficiaries they eligible to create their micro business and following up for 3 months with each beneficiary to ensure he/she depend on themselves at work.
