Job Responsibilities:

-Supervise and lead the activities of Litigation & Guardians teams and ensure timely legal action
-Conduct a timely review and close follow up on lawyers’ performance
-Improve and maximize the success rate of filed cases
-Monitor Criminal, REPO, executions and civil case filing to ensure agreed TAT is met as per bank's procedures.
- Conduct a regular performance review for all listed law firms
-Review rejected cases with law firms to stand on the weak points and explore all options to success
-Maintain decent and proper relationship with the concerned authorities in line with the bank policies
-Monitor vehicle stock and ensure that MIS of the vehicle stock is updated daily.
-Explore feasibility of receiving vehicles repossessed by police before collecting them from police compound.
- Review and ensure accuracy of all the bills related to Litigation & Guardians teams.
-Ensure that all records and systems are updated properly for all activities related to Litigation and Guardians in line with the bank's procedures.
- Ensure a list of all the vehicles under custody is maintained explaining account status with actions made and perform a periodic and sudden vehicles inventory check.
-Manage the car sale process with auction companies as per the bank's procedures.
-Ensure all documents related to auctions, Litigation & Guardians units are properly filed and stored for future reference
- Adhere to laid down processes, SLAs and collection manual.
-Ensure strict compliance with DIB policies and procedures.

-Reporting directly to SVP & Head of collections & Recoveries.
-Directing and coaching a team of 10 collectors
-Handling front -End and late bucket / all DPD - Retail / consumer Mortgage
-Discuss and agree on the assigned monthly target (front - End and NPL)
-Provide allocation logic and agree on the strategy
-In charge of Mortgage portfolio with Legal department to identify and priorities the legal action (Cheques Execution, SOM, Monetary Claims, termination of the agreement, civil cases
-Close follow up with the external law firms / Auctioneer for progressive update and closure of cases
-Hand to hand with legal to carry out periodic reviews on foreclosure cases; addressing any issues impacting the bank’s ability to find a satisfactory judgment
-Closely checking the performance of the collection team against targets
-Carrying out capacity plans and ensuring enough resources to increase efficiency
-Training and developing teams to optimize collections, identifying area of weakness in performance, and providing job training to enhance staff productivity
-Regularly producing accurate and in-depth MIS

•Contact point with legal department
•Take all necessary legal action against DLQ accounts to protect company interest
•Preparing Monthly MIS provision
•Daily, weekly& monthly MIS for delinquent accounts
•Preparing risk analysis report for some accounts ( Reporting to head of credit
•Handling team of 10 internal collectors & 2 external
•Handling team of early buckets
•In charge of training new stuff
•Monitor flows of delinquent accounts across delinquency buckets
•Handling mortgage & Islamic Finance accounts ( Murabaha + Ijara + corporate )
•Handling under constructions accounts & preparing the calculation of accrued profit
•Handling any kind of issues related to the accounts like Standing order break up for accounts repayment roll over letter
•Preparing repayment summary for all accounts ( break down )
•Handling external field visit to CM & properties
•Meet and negotiate with customers to explore possibilities for an amicable settlement of debt and their adherence by borrowers to avoid further losses

•Handled team of 12 internal collectors for personal loans +credit card payments for (HSBC).
•Handling various collection cases for banks like ( HSBC-ST.CH-RAK-EMB-ABNAMRO-NBD)
•Take all necessary legal action against DLQ accounts
•Prepared daily, weekly & monthly target for the team & monitor that daily
•Prepared the field visit target for external collectors.
•Prepared ( MIS + field visit ) reports for the bank & the manager
•In charge of training new stuff
•Handling bounced cheques cases
•Making international calls for recovery cases. & help skip team to follow up skip cases
•In Charge of Making Settlement Agreements and handling high extreme outstanding cases.
