Technical and Commercial Evaluation Reports, TDS, MSDS, LTC/GTC approvals,
catalogues, LOA etc.) in SAP & JD Edwards (ORACLE), and maintain auditable records.

Responsible for procuring Turnaround and Projects materials worth USD 100 million for the world’s
largest GTL plant; successfully delivering more than 24, 000 line items for two major turnarounds,
being the biggest Turnaround in the history of Qatar Shell, to time and budget.
 Determine prequalification criteria by securing and analyzing quotations; negotiating prices
and terms with suppliers and recommending suppliers with respect to cost, quality and
delivery competitiveness by maintaining a prime and strategic focus on procurement and
inventory management.
 Procurement for critical items such as heat tube exchangers, valves, pumps, pipe fittings
and flanges, flare tips, IT & Telecom Cables, Patch cords, Server Cabinets.
 Ensure projects schedule is maintained by delivery of materials; confirming the production
controls is kept and monitored by involving third party inspectors for visual authentication,
and freight forwarders.
 Develop and implement tender planning/ scheduling procedures for procurement of goods
and services in alignment with Shell’s Procurement Procedure to ensure the achievement
of milestone activities using Should Cost Model methodology.
 Maintain close control of purchasing budgets by reporting statistics on the financial aspects
