Site supervision and review of all O&M components related to the Low Current Systems to ensure their compliance with contract requirements, issuing work orders, and approval of subcontractors’ appointment, for the project’s main components including all buildings, infrastructure utilities, landscaped areas and internal road networks related to an educational complex with a total built-up area of 2.8 million m², including 8 academic colleges, 6 health sciences colleges, 2 medical research laboratories, 600-bed hospital (107, 000 m²), central library, administration building, ceremonial piazza, housing units for 11, 000 single students, 400 villas for senior staff housing, 1, 400 apartments for junior staff housing, sports facilities, mosques and central utility plants. Works comprise site grading, soft and hard landscaping, internal roads, a flyover, an underpass, water supply and sewerage networks, external and internal fire-fighting, stormwater drainage, irrigation, chilled and hot water systems, flood protection, electrical power networks, data and IT networks and systems, security systems, street and outdoor lighting, sewage treatment plant, solid waste transfer station, electrical generation plants and substations, elevated and ground reservoirs, etc. The project comprises several LEED-certified buildings of which three LEED Gold in addition to many modern techniques for energy conservation and renewable energy. The project also comprises an 11.85 km dual-track elevated APM system, with 14 air-conditioned stations, 2 bus terminals, 3 pedestrian bridges, and a complete maintenance and storage facility. The fully automated system operates along 4 overlapping routes, with headways as short as 90 seconds, achieving full coverage for the university’s housing, academic and administrative facilities.
Responsible for all aspects of setup and performance of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of Communication Systems, such as the PABX (Ericsson MD110 / 1000 Extensions), DECT Wireless System (Ascom), Telephone & Data Networks, Nurse Call System, Public Address System, Paging System, Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), & Mater Antenna TV System. Planned and implemented alterations to ensure safety, to improve operator ergonomics, and to increase System productivity
Duties include the supervision of the long shut down maintenance of the Beirut Governmental University Hospital (B.G.U.H.), which includes: Building Management System (BMS), Motor Control System (MCC), Fire Alarm System, Nurse Call System, Public Address System, Earthing System, Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), & Communication Systems.
Responsibilities include but not limited: 1-Sales: promoting sales, initiating new customers/clients, introduction of product, conducting physical demonstration and answering technical questions if any, and providing after sales services, Tenders Pricing viz. 2-Technical: Troubleshoot Ethernet and Gigabit Switch based Networks (3COM & Cisco), Use of advanced test equipment to certify new Network points and ascertain network performance, Supervise Project team for implementation and maintenance of Wide and Local Area Networks, Install and maintain UTP and Fiber cable and connections (KRONE). Responsibilities include but not limited for promoting sales in the area assigned under my responsibility and the scope of work includes, initiating new customers/clients, introduction of product, conducting physical demonstration and answering technical questions if any, follow ups for convincing the importance and features of the product to win the purchase orders and providing after sales services viz. installation, operation and orientation and repairs at times of break downs etc.. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager. I have a track record of exceeding the sales versus target. The products of sale to name some are: Wavetek (test & measurement equipments), Aurora (fiber optic fusion splicers), and 3M (Telecommunications division).
Started my career with SIRTI as Supervisor on all electrical Cable installations for several Area completed by SIRTI to name some are Meten Moyen, Broumana, and Beit Merry, then on March 15th, 1997 I was transferred to the inspection and control department as a Chief executive assistant where I was responsible for the inspection, and control of some areas of Mount Lebanons Telephone infrastructure reconstruction (PSTN project).My responsibilities include but not limited to overall supervision of the cable installations, civil works, co-ordinate with the main contractor (SIEMENS) and government authorities, scheduling and implementation of works operation, to notify the client any problematic areas and suggest rectification, conducting safety meetings, directly supervising a work team of 7 skilled and semi skilled work force, etc. reporting to the Project Manager
