Conduct inspection tours of the production unit to check various equipment such as pre-wash basins, soda basins, and the boiler, ensuring their proper functioning and cleanliness.
Perform physico-chemical analyses on the produced flakes, including density measurement, moisture content, sorting impurities, and granulometry characterization, to ensure the quality of the final product.
Participate in the processes of the purification plant by completing installations, conducting laboratory tests to determine the most effective products and optimal doses of coagulant and flocculant.
Ensure the commissioning of the purification plant and oversee its proper functioning.
Act as an environmental delegate by identifying and following the legislative and regulatory provisions applicable to the establishment, maintaining an inventory of pollutions and their impacts, monitoring emissions, and raising awareness among staff about these environmental issues.
Assist in the preparation and operation of the SCADA automatic system under supervision, learning associated protocols and procedures.
Conduct quality control analyses on chemical products, measuring parameters such as activity, viscosity, density, and pH to ensure compliance with established standards.
Maintain and perform maintenance on the reverse osmosis (RO) treatment unit, including dismantling and replacing membranes, conducting clean-in-place (CIP) for the RO system, and replacing cartridge filters.
Optimize doses of antiscalant and acid or base required to maintain the proper operation of the RO unit.
Conduct quality checks on water treated by the RO unit to ensure compliance with required specifications.
Document and report the results of analyses and maintenance operations performed, following established procedures and ensuring adequate traceability.
Supervise compliance with hygiene rules, including the fire system, personal protective equipment (PPE), and collective protective equipment (CPE), by identifying potential risk points.
Organize and ensure the follow-up of weekly cleaning, by preparing appropriate cleaning products such as caustic soda, bleach, and floor detergents.
Conduct physico-chemical and microbiological analyses on raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
Supervise the production line and packaging line to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Verify batch numbers and dates on finished products, as well as storage methods at the warehouse level.
Ensure adequate documentation of analysis results and checks conducted. Coordinate with production teams to address any identified non-conformities. Implement corrective and preventive measures to ensure product quality throughout the production process.
Train production staff on good quality control practices and inventory management.
Install water treatment units for process water.
Ensure commissioning and monitoring of the water treatment line.
Fill and adjust necessary chemicals for water treatment based on physico-chemical analysis results.
Regularly conduct physico-chemical analyses to assess the quality of treated water.
Take corrective measures if analysis results do not meet established standards.
Maintain and calibrate water treatment equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Document and report water treatment data, including analysis results and corrective actions taken.
