Currently, I am performing following activities.
- Responsible for preparing interim and annual standalone and consolidated statutory financial statements.
- Coordinate with external audit on interim and annual basis.
- Preparing and posting Jvs in the month end.
- Preparing general ledger (G/L) account reconciliation report and reconciles and clears balances for assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
- Responsible for month end closing for two entities.
- Responsible for IFRS 16 monthly entries and if any lease modification or new lease calculation.
- Coordinate with actuarial consultant for end of service benefit annually basis and prepare adjustment entries for the differences.
Currently, I am performing the following activities:
- Reconciling and analyzing 2 million transactions monthly with banks amounting over US$100M for over 1200 stores.
- Preparing cash collection reconciliation relating to the previous business day.
- Coordinating with banks where there is short credit provided.
- Reviewing daily sales report voucher in order to confirm the amount recorded in the ledger.
- Preparing general ledger (G/L) account reconciliation report and reconciles and clears balances for assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
- Coordinating with external auditors on a quarterly and annually.
- Assisting finance manager in month end financial period closing.
- Responsible for preparing monthly management reports.
- Responsible for preparing interim and annual statutory financial statements for subsidiary companies based in KSA
- Preparation and recording of month end JV’s.
- Assisting finance manager in preparation, completion, and submission of VAT and withholding tax returns within the filing deadlines and in compliance with the local VAT law.
- Preparing monthly Sale, VAT payments, bank commission and reconcile to G/L.
- Monitoring the systems of revenue recording and revenue assurance in order to evaluate internal controls effectiveness.
- Identifying discrepancies in expected cash collection and actual cash deposited in the bank.
- Implemented a system of internal controls in order to mitigate the risk of fraud and error to an acceptable level and monitoring the same thereafter.
The areas of my responsibility included:
- Preparing and delivering monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with disclosures.
- Verification of major accounts and application of analytical procedures.

- Identified and investigated audit difference and evaluated findings.
- Analyzing and interpreting Financial and Non-Financial Information.
