- Managing the operations team and overseeing the entire operations of the branch. Provide necessary directions to the Officers and ensure compliance of various banking rules and procedures as outlined by the bank and other regulatory authorities.
- Ensure that counter service is provided to the customers in a timely manner and the prescribed process flow is followed meticulously.
- Ensure customer service standards are always maintained and resolve customer complaints if any in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervision of Account Opening and maintenance of various types of accounts in accordance with KYC and AML Norms.
- Periodical checking of reports, monitoring of GL heads and suspense transactions and verification of vault transactions.
- Processing credit proposals - analysis, disbursement, documentation & monitoring of loans and advances as per loan policies and guidelines.
- Marketing & cross sale of various Bank schemes and products through customer relation and contact.
- Monitoring of cash balances in branch and ATM and strive to maintain cash balances within the retention limit.
- Ensure that branch receives adequate rating in internal audit and ensure timely compliance of audit observations.
- Manage the branch staff towards achievement of overall branch targets by generating business and ensure profitability of branch operations.
- Interacting directly with customer, identifying their requirements and provided them with best banking solutions to suit their needs.
- Collection of doubtful, bad and loss assets by applying various strategies and by conducting OTS scheme.
- Handling procedures of Court cases in co-ordination with Advocates and Central office
- MIS handling related to Branch.
- Managed a 10 member staff team and allocated works to them in such a way that smooth and efficient functioning of the branch was ensured.
