Reporting directly to the Group CFO to lead the corporate finance and FP&A function, covering the
group’s business in 10+ countries and 70+ entities. Budgeting, financial analysis, preparation of
Board reports, group cash/debt position and group cash flow.
Lead role on a legal reorganization exercise across the UAE (onshore and free zones), KSA,
Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and India. Planning and coordination with internal departments and
external advisors (international and local legal advisors, Big 4 accountants and financial advisors).
Developing and maintaining financial models for group strategic business planning, quarterly
financial planning and investment appraisal both independently and with external advisors.
Review and preparation of investment models, teasers, financial information packs, KYC
documentation for banks, financiers and client prequalifications.
Monitoring construction market and analysis of competitive peer group (financials and valuations),
using public filings, market intelligence platforms and conferences.
Leading Lebanese bank (assets c. $25 bn) affiliated with the multinational Société Générale group.
Reported directly to the Head of Investment Finance to work on corporate finance advisory and asset
management.
Assisted in securing regulatory approval and first closing of two new venture capital funds (total
targeted closing of $120mn), including coordination with clients, legal advisors, regulators and
potential investors.
Monitored the bank's venture capital portfolio (worth over $10m) and liaised with portfolio
companies/funds and internal departments as needed for regulatory reporting, capital calls and
board/GA meetings.
Conducted preliminary assessments and valuations for potential corporate finance advisory
assignments, venture capital investments and ABS investments, including drafting investment
committee memorandums.
