• Troubleshoot network equipment such as Cisco- routers, switches and access point, Fortinet- Firewall and Avaya- Server, gateway and phones.
• Troubleshoot Network related problem including configurations, Service Provider issue, Firewall issue, Network Address Translation etc.

• Handles SMART BTS troubles, Meridian WIFI (Corporate Accounts - SMART BRO), WEROAM (2G -GPRS /EDGE and 3G - UMTS/HSDPA Wireless Internet), SWUP (Shops- work unplugged), FAST TRACK (Field Asset System for Tracking) and PLDT Subsidiaries / Affiliates Data Services connections.
• Performs first line maintenance and last mile testing for possible preliminary fault isolation trough the aid of various tools such as CLARITY, ICMS or other forth coming tools / systems that may be required for data services (such as SMART BTS, WEROAM, SMART BRO, DSL, Leased line, Frame Relay, DID/DOD, ISDN etc.)
• Performs DSL and SHOPS.WORK testing, thru TELNET, PING, and other commands. Assists and guides customer regarding TCP/IP configuration (IP address, Gateway, Subnet Mask, DNS). Configure modem / router (D-link router, Zyxel modem, etc.) for DSL and SMART BRO connection
• Has strong knowledge on Cisco Routers (commands and configuration).
• Monitors trouble reports assigned to our group, coordinate and endorse trouble reports with various repair work units (refers to the different PLDT restoration team) involved in the restoration of the facilities being reported.
• Coordinates with field engineers in testing, fault analysis and restoration of access network / last mile facilities (status / action taken / endorsement / follow-up trouble reports)
• Coordinates with Data Network Management (Network Services) in testing and fault analysis of data core network facilities.
• Coordinates with PLDT subsidiaries and affiliates on the restoration of PLDT provided Facilities
• Provides feedback to all concerned parties (Relationship Managers and customers) on the progress of restoration process.
• Confirms with customer, if the data service has been restored and accepted. Once restoration activities have been completed. Closes trouble ticket once service has been restored.
• Endorse and e-mail reports, requests, follow-up of corporate concerns to the respective group.
