• Review Tender documents for the specific project, including drawing, technical specification, Bill of Quantities, Safety & Quality requirements, General & Specific Terms and Conditions
• Prepare a synopsis of project and submit to management to take strategic decisions.
• Review provided drawing, prepare BOQ as required or verify provided BOQ
• Prepare technical and commercial queries and send to client for clarifying any ambiguity if arises in the tender document.
• Find the procurement items required in the project from Drawing & BOQ
• Prepare RFQ packages for procurement, subcontract items with required technical specification, drawings and BOQ and send to procurement/subcontract department to get quotation
• Evaluate the required quotation technically and commercially through a comparison sheets to present and choose the right quotation.
• Estimate required Manpower based on the standard man hours set out by the company and choosing the job factor by evaluating the project.
• Estimate the required equipment, indirect manpower, site facilities & other expenses and deploy as per the required project schedule.
• Generate the cost in total and with breakdown of cost in different categories like manpower, equipment, subcontract etc .
• Present to management for their final decisions regarding markup & contingency factors and fix the total price.
• Distribute the price according to the client format with all requested information.
• Clarify to client any post bidding queries and in negotiation process.
• Verify the final contract draft with the bidding document, clarifications and our submission to client.
• Explain the project to designated project team and hand over the document as per the company policy.
