Gisela has 15 years of experience in Events and 5 years of experience in Marketing and Events in Mall Management in Qatar at Doha Festival City, Tawar Mall, and Ezdan Mall.

Over the past 10 years, Gisela has worked as Project Manager and Events Manager for a variety of Multinationals (International Events Committees, Event Agencies, Retail and Broadcast companies) across multiple industry sectors in Qatar, Portugal and for short periods in other countries as Perú, Poland and Chile.
At Doha Festival City she had the opportunity to deliver 89 Mall Events and activation, 11 Marketing Campaigns, and support 245 retailers events. She developed key partnerships with local and international brands such as Disney, Cartoon Network, Event Box, Qatar Tourism Authority, BeIN Sports, and Qatar Airways. She was the project lead on big events as Jennifer Lopez Concert, many live shows (Paw Patrol, Ice Age, Tommy & Jerry, Ben 10), Confetti Dome, and Candyland.

In 2019, she moved to Peru for 3 months to work as a TV Producer with MediaPro / Media Luso to manage a team of around 80 broadcast professionals during Pan & Para Pan American Games Lima 2019, being responsible for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as the Surf modality. Recently, she participated in other international events as a Broadcast Venue Manager at the European Games 2023 in Poland, handling Canoe Sprint and Boxing Sports transmissions. She just returned from Chile, where she did the Pan and Para Pan American Games, being responsible as Broadcast Venue Manager for the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Pan and Para Pan Olympic Games and Tennis.

Her last long contract was to integrate the team to deliver the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Gisela worked as Catering Cluster Manager for Corniche and Qatar Rail. She worked closely with leadership to plan Central Doha Operations for more than 2 years. She managed all catering operations during the test events at the stadiums (FIFA Arab Cup and Qualifiers), and during FIFA World Cup 2022, she managed Corniche activation logistics and catering operations
