Responsible for the business development at international level of Protom engineering services, solutions, and products for Aerospace & Defence.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements
• Developed and implemented strategic & tactical marketing plans for introduction of Protom business into new geographic area; successfully established business in France (0.5M euro of revenue per year), Brazil (by acquiring a company) and United Arab Emirates (closing a contract of 4M USD).
• Developed and implemented B2B negotiation strategy by accurately managing all customer communication and maintain effective relationship with all.
• Bring constantly and stable Engineering Services and Solutions opportunities pipelines.
• Responsible for monitoring the order intake process and for driving new contact closing activities and monitoring ongoing contracts in terms of contractual requirements fulfillment.
• Evaluate market trends and provide appropriate support to solutions development.
• In charge of identify partnership merge and acquisition opportunities in new countries; successfully managed the full acquisition process for an engineering services company in Brazil by following the negotiation, administrative, financial and local Brazilian regulation issues.
• Manging the Brazilian subsidiary company (20 employees and 3M Reais of revenue in 2020) P&L, Budget, CAPEX etc.
Important Company Achievements:
I started up a new business in Brazil managing the whole process for the acquisition of a Brazilian Engineering Services Company (Ambra by Protom). Ambra by Protom has 20 employees and is actually working with Embraer and other Brazilian industrial companies. I have recently negotiated and closed a 4M USD contract with Calidus Aerospace LLC (based in Abu Dhabi) for the development of the complete Hydraulic System and the supply of 16 complete Systems for the B250 Trainer & Light attack aircraft for the UAE Air Force. After having catched Calidus as new potential customer I have identified the opportunity within their B250 aircraft development scope and set the down the technical and commercial proposal jointly with a Partner.
