Roles and Responsibilities:
•Thorough business understanding of Loyalty programs in the field of Travel and hospitality.
•Strong experience in Data Warehousing and ETL using Informatica Power Center 9.0, and also handling activities related to development, implementation, maintenance and support of ETL processes for large scale data warehouses using sources like Oracle, SQL server and Flat files.
•Developed firm understanding in Data Requirement, Data Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes by developing complex SQL queries, unions and multiple table joins.
•Created multiple Unix Shell scripts to run Informatica workflows, control the ETL flow and automate various tasks, to reduce manual intervention thereby making the process less prone to error.
•Experienced at Creating effective Test data and development through Unit test cases to ensure successful execution of the data.
•Investigated and fixed the bugs which occurred in the production environment and providing the support when needed.
