Senior Engineer à Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission, Islamabad
  • Pakistan - Islamabad
  • Je travaille ici depuis octobre 2001

• I handled high tech Nuclear Equipment in Research & Development Project.
• I handle design office and experience designing different parts. Auto Desk inventor was our main tool, we design both part by part and assemblies and use old designs in a modified form.
• Our shop floor was also having computer interfaced CNC lathe machine that is the CAD/CAM facility.
• I worked on the design of cycloidal gear which can transmit power in the line of the shaft, can transmit power from one side of the shaft and is self-locked from the other side of the shaft and has a very high reduction ratio.
• I also worked on the prototype design and fabrication of the Two Dimensional XY Table.
• I handled Machine Shop and having experience in fabricating parts and assemblies.
• The machines I experience include different Lathes, Shapers, Planers, Milling, Boring, Drilling, Gear cutting and Grinding machines both Manual, Numeric Control (NC) and Computer Numeric Control (CNC).
• In the non conventional methods of machining I experience wire cutting, high energy water jet cutting and electric discharge machining.
• Three of the welding techniques like arc welding, electric arc welding and electron beam welding were also among the shop floor experience.
• Different power press operations like cutting, bending and drawing also includes.
• I also handled the quality control section experiencing different gauges
• Handled the tool crimp section where I become familiar with different tools used in the machining processes.
• The workshop in which I worked also deals ceramic parts for high voltage applications in electronics which includes converting to powdered alumina, cleaning alumina powder from any impurity involved; die making for alumina powder and increasing its strength and density in the furnace and finally polishing it.
• I also experience metal to ceramic welding technique.
• I experience well the precision and accuracy on the shop floor because we usually deal high tech research and development Equipment which involved making the whole assemblies for the setup.
• Machining different materials like different kinds of steels, aluminum and its alloys, titanium, Teflon, brass, bronze and copper, making high pressure flanges, welding different materials and carbonizing steel were among my experience.
