Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the maintenance and enhancement of the green landscape, hardscape, and irrigation systems in the Dubai Expo Site along with Private Pavilions, to ensure a pleasant and beautified living environment for the Visitors and other Stake Holder.
Manage the tender process for the regular services and enhancement projects in order to maintain and improve the landscaping. That includes scoping, technical evaluation, and execution of the agreements.
Implement value engineering concepts and methods in order to reach cost-effective solutions and accordingly save maintenance and operation costs for the malls.
Accurate and complete scoping to scope gaps. Include the necessary KPIs and disciplinary measures to be able to control the Third-Party service providers after contract execution.
Managing the Handing-Over Process for the new landscaping projects
On-site visual audit inspections & control in order to ensure acceptable landscaping condition.
Plan and prepare a complete Budget for each project through the PCM system.
Managing all DLP sites and handing over processes by closing all snags related to soft landscape and irrigation.
Visiting the new maintenance sites and preparation of site inquires for Manpower, and machinery as per the site and client requirements.
Manage landscape variations work in different projects.
Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc. Performing all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
Implementation and follow-up of the maintenance schedule.
Follow-up meetings with the clients on a weekly and monthly basis, close monitoring of operations teams for further enhancement of the Landscape Projects.
Machinery and manpower allocation for all maintenance sites as per the site and client requirements.
Quotation preparation and submission to the client for any variation works.
Follow up on all sites related materials with the Procurement department for material delivery to the site on time.

Role: Supervision & Coordination for landscape maintenance and variation work.
Project Scope: Operation & Maintenance of Landscape and Irrigation works in JAFZA.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees daily operation of Landscape maintenance & Construction activities of different projects owned by JAFZA & DP World, prepares a preventive maintenance schedule for soft landscape & Irrigation for all projects.
Responsible for managing all field operations, Coordinating with procurement, and scheduling the use of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within the budget, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
In charge of the selection of plants depending on season and availability in the local market.
Pest controlling, identification of pests and diseases for a proper recommendation of chemicals to be used, or use of integrated pest management techniques.
Manage and schedule landscaping staff on their daily work activities ensuring that the standard of the Government Offices and Building will strictly follow.
Maintains presentable quality of the landscaping areas making sure the good growth of the plants for a good impression of the guests.
Plans in fertilizer application.
Making sure landscape maintenance activities daily, weekly, monthly, and annually are followed and implemented.
Daily checking on the irrigation system to ensure it is working properly.
Supervise landscaping staff, enforce proper uniforms and safety equipment use, and approve vacation plans.
Order materials and equipment as needed within purchasing limits.
Conducts performance development review for landscaping staff and take corrective action when needed.
Monitor job cost and report to General Manager on any jobs deviating from the budget of time, schedule, cost, or any other factor-appropriate adjustments to maximize results.
Assist human resources in hiring new staff and conducting interviews.
Invoice preparation, submission, and payment follow-up.
Preparation and submission of monthly landscape & irrigation maintenance reports for invoice submission.
